Jeffrey Dahmer – Serial Killer
Jeffrey Dahmer, also known as the Milwaukee Monster, Cannibal, and sex offender, was responsible for the murder of seventeen men and boys between 1978 and 1991. He was an extreme case of sex offending and a serial killer. Although Dahmer had no prior criminal record, he murdered seventeen men and boys over a seven-year period. In total, he killed 17 victims. Here are a few facts about him.
In 1990, Jeffrey Dahmer began killing one person a week. He hoped to morph his victims into zombies, and he used a variety of methods to do this. He injected boiling water and hydrochloric acid into the victims’ brains. In one case, he convinced the neighbors that he had killed his victim’s boyfriend after killing him, and he confessed to the crimes.
Jeffrey Dahmer was a serial killer, and he killed 17 men between 1978 and 1991. His victims were often on the outer edge of society. The suspect lured victims to his home with promises of sex and money. Then he strangled and raped them. Some of his victims were even found with body parts and blood on their mattresses. The perpetrators also kept the heads of their victims as souvenirs.
The police found eight painted skulls and severed heads in Jeffrey Dahmer’s apartment in 1991. They also found the remains of eleven victims in his apartment. The killer pleaded insanity at his trial, but the court rejected the defense. In 1992, he was sentenced to fifteen life terms in prison, meaning he would not have been eligible for parole for 936 years. However, he died of his injuries while being held prison in 1996.
The murders that occurred in Jeffrey Dahmer’s apartment were all unsolved. The criminal confessed to the murders and subsequently took the bodies to a hotel. He drugged and raped his victims. The victim’s body was found under his bed the next morning. These crimes began to follow suit in his house, as he started to actively seek out young men in gay bars. Once convicted, he was sent to a mental institution where he was committed for the rest of his life.
The first year of Jeffrey Dahmer’s life in prison wasn’t eventful, but he did have his own unique way of committing crimes. He had seven human skulls in his apartment, a human heart in his freezer, and a candle altar in his closet. He confessed to his crimes, and the evidence he presented was strong, but his death was not. He had a lot of mental health problems, and he was unable to control his actions.
After committing the crimes, Jeffrey Dahmer studied religion while behind bars. His father is a born-again Christian, and he reportedly took a Bible correspondence course to learn more about Christianity. In the spring of 1994, the former serial killer expressed interest in converting to Christianity. In May 1994, he became a baptized Christian after attending a church. This was the first time Dahmer had committed a crime.
It is still unclear whether Dahmer was gay or not. He had an early sexual encounter with another teenage boy, but neither had any intercourse. The inmate had a deep disgust for the killer. The inmate also kept newspaper clippings about Dahmer. It is unknown whether the two had sexual relations. He confessed to being gay and using his sex as a weapon. The killings were not the only crimes he committed.
The murders of 17 men were committed after Dahmer’s grandmother became increasingly annoyed with him bringing men to her home late at night. The woman complained of foul smells in the basement. Later, the two-bedroom apartment Dahmer bought in the neighborhood was rented out to him. He lured a 13-year-old boy, Keison Sinthasomphone, back to the apartment, where he drugged her.
The murder of Anthony Sears was the fifth case Dahmer committed. He met Sears at a bar and brought him to his grandmother’s basement. He strangled him and preserved his genitals and head. He later kept the bodies in his work locker. A forensic examination later proved that he was a serial killer. In addition to the five people he killed, the inmate Christopher Scarver killed another man.
